Quartz sand filter

After cleaning the sand filter, the filter sand is returned to the filter bed, and the pollutants generated are discharged.
Quartz sand filter material moves from top to bottom under the action of lifting pump, playing the role of tail water mixing. The filter material can be cleaned in time and has strong resistance to pollutant load impact. The special internal structure and operation characteristics of quartz sand filter make coagulation, clarification and filtration complete in the same pool.
Purification method of quartz sand
1, scrub desliming.
Washing refers to the removal of thin film iron on the surface of quartz sand by mechanical force and intersand abrasion peeling force, bonding impurity minerals and argy impurity minerals, further crushing of mineral aggregates without monomer, and further purification of quartz sand by grading. Now, there are mainly rods and mechanical scrubbing. The main factors affecting the scrubbing effect are the structural characteristics and configuration form of scrubbing machine; The secondary factors are scrubbing time and scrubbing concentration (scrubbing concentration is generally 50-60% appropriate).
2, magnetic separation.
Magnetic separation is mainly used to remove magnetic minerals in quartz sand, such as hematite, limonite, biotite and other weak magnetic minerals can be removed by strong magnetic machine, and magnetite and other strong magnetic minerals can be removed by weak magnetic separator.
3, flotation.
Flotation is used to remove impurities such as feldspar and mica that cannot be removed by magnetic separation, and further improve the purity of feldspar and mica.
4, acid leaching.
Acid leaching is the use of quartz insoluble in acid (except hydrofluoric acid), other impurities can be dissolved by acid solution, so as to further purify quartz.
5, microbial leaching.
Microbial removal of iron from the surface of quartz sand particles is a new iron removal technology.
